Location
The branch of Amorino Ice Cream Parlour we visited was located in the La Canada shopping centre near to Marbella. At this point we had walked through the centre at few times and every time I looked adoringly into the shop, mmmmmmm gelato. But alas it wasn’t the right time until the very last day and I couldn’t leave the country with out one of their beautiful delights.
Food Quality
This was the real deal, yep full flavour soft serve creamy ice cream, oooo just the thought of this stunning ice cream now makes my mouth water.
I choose a mixture of three flavours, chocolate, salted caramel and hazelnut praline. Ooooooo I was devine. What made this delicious ice cream even better was the most artistically way it was presented, in a stunning form of a beautiful rose. Yep you heard, I devoured a beautiful piece of artwork shaped as a rose. Happy was not the word, content was!
Value for money
The sculpture that was my ice cream was the most expensive coned ice cream in the shop, eeeeek but still I had my heart set on trying this since I first set my eyes on it. It was pricey at five Euros but for the piece of mind of pure artisan gelato it was totally worth it.
Atmosphere
I can’t really talk about atmosphere as we didn’t stay in the shop to eat but it was clear as soon as you walked in that excellence was as standard.
It was definitely a treat worth waiting for and one I may repeat if were ever near another branch in the world.
