The Breathtaking Uluwatu Temple in South Kuta, Bali

It's our first couple of days in Bali, and we were ready for a bit of culture, so we hired a local driver (recommend to us by a friend) and asked him to take us somewhere beautiful. Uluwatu is a beautiful temple perched on top of a very sharp cliff, and it's view's seems to go on for miles.

Getting a History Lesson at the Bajra Sandhi Monument

This building is certainly incredibly impressive and is a place where a lot of people come to take graduation or wedding photos, but there is more to this monument then it's undeniable beauty.

OMG we got to Hold a Baby Turtle at Turtle Island Pulau Serangan

The Turtle Island Pulau Serangan was a beautiful suggestion by our very professional driver Wayan Bawa; he said as we have time we should visit this turtle sanctuary. Cool!

Gold Class Tickets For Cheaper Than A Big Mac At The Cinemaxx Cinema

Category: Indonesia Things To Do

The Mother Temple in Bali

If was one of the last full day tours we had in Bali.  We had been past Mount Agung, and now it was time to head to the mother temple.

Things To Do in Bandung, Indonesia

For you who have a plan for a vacation to Indonesia. I strongly suggest you go to Bandung, West Java, and I make sure you will not regret it. Many people go on holiday to Bandung at the weekends. Because Bandung has many tourist attractions. From culinary tourism, nature tourism, and art tours. Price issued by people on vacation at Bandung arguably quite cheap.

The Incredible Klungkung Palace and Kertha Gosa Pavilion

So we had been traveling around Bali now for a few weeks. Our good friend, Bawa, driving us around.  It was then suggested.  Did we want to visit another temple?  We had seen so many at this point.  But we thought.  Why not, we love seeing the different temple designs and history behind them.

Yes, We Tried Some Coffee Luwak. Yes, It Was Disgusting!

Okay, so both Lee and I aren't exactly coffee drinkers. But they have a particular kind in Bali that is pretty famous. Coffee Luwak is the coffee in question. So we thought we'd pick some up for my dad who is a massive coffee drinker.

The Incredible Frankensteins Laboratory Cabaret Show in Bali

Frankensteins Laboratory is located in Seminyak, Kabupaten Badung. This location, unfortunately, doesn't have any parking, but I would guess that every local taxi driver knows this place well.

A Very Short Trip To The Sanur Festival 2016

We wanted to experience a local festival, and as we saw signs for the Sanur Festival. I thought it would be awesome to go. Our lovely driver suggested that it could be done on one of the days he took us out so we wouldn't have to worry about transport.

The Rather Expensive Kemenuh Bali Butterfly Park

We were travelling from Legian to Ubud, and we stopped off at this butterfly park in Kemenuh. The entry price was a little higher than an average entry price to a tourist attraction in Bali, but we had heard good things so we thought we would give it a go.

An Unforgettable Bali Elephant Safari Walk

Well, the Bali Elephant Safari Walk was an experience, this elephant park is based in Taro, Ubud. I wanted to have an experience of riding an elephant but also wanted to go to a place, where they respected the animals as well.

The Dead Temple. Also Known As The Sacred Monkey Forest.

Before we start, I had done some reading on this place on a particular Facebook group (i won’t give them any exposure because I thought the page was poorly managed and freedom of speech was not allowed).  They had mentioned being bitten by the monkeys and having them climb all over them.  I was feeling quite anxious about heading up here.

Pura Taman Ayun, The Temple You Cant Go Into

Pura Taman Ayun is a compound of Balinese temple and garden with water features. Pura Taman Ayun is in the Mengwi district in Badung Regency, in Bali. Pura Taman Ayun itself is on a large rectangle piece of land.

The Ulun Danu Temple, In The Middle Of A Volcanic Crater

OMFG, yes I dropped the F-bomb.  The Ulun Danu Temple was one of the most incredible temples we had visited.  Not because of its beauty (although it was unique with the backdrop of the lake in the volcanic crater). But because I was an actual local for 5 minutes. More about that later on.

The Quite Magnificent Tanah Lot In Bali

So we headed to Tanah Lot early.  Like we were there by 9.00am! It is certainly a must, the cost to enter was around 35,000rp per person.  You didn’t need to have a sarong to visit here like so many other temples in Bali.
