This hidden little treasure is just off the coast of Dorset. We took a drive down this windy road, and slowly it became apparent as we were getting some funny looks that we had driven down a slipway for boats to you’re into the sea.
Oops!
Hey, we were getting some looks, but the view from the car was stunning. He he
So we eventually we parked up and took a walk down the precarious road we had just driven down. The long windy road leads to this circular cove with the most stunning views, of course, you are a little bombarded by the obligatory seaside cafes and Ice cream parlours but if you climb the hills either side of the cove you can bypass this and take some stunning pictures (as you can see, we did).
Although it was a bit chilly on top of the cliff, it seemed a very popular site for hikers, and I am not surprised because the sights are truly stunning.
And of course, even though it was cold enough for me to be wearing my thermals, we couldn’t resist the chance of filling our belly’s with local ice cream. Yum yum. See the full review of that place here.
Its a beautiful place to visit but not a place that entertained us for long, we took some beautiful pictures, watched the local divers bring back their hordes of oysters but as we didn’t fancy a long hike we were only there for about an hour or so. Short and sweet but worth a look if your close by.
