It was a glorious day, and we rocked up to Herbert Valley Motel around midday. We were greeted by the lovely chatty and well-informed Dennis on reception. He was helpful and gave us some great advice and loads of pan flips on what to do in the local area, they were helpful, we value the information we get from knowledgeable locals.
We drove a short distance, parked under their sheltered covering and checked into our room. The room was a lovely size family room with a decent sized double bed and also a single bed, digital TV, we had a little dining area and a kitchenette not to mention our private bathroom.
They also had on site and indoor round (yes round) swimming pool on site as well as a laundry room for guest to use and a pool room also. Our room was very well prepared and was very clean, we settled in and connected to their great wifi. It was so good we decided to take full advantage of it and worked on the blog for the rest of the afternoon, which we were very thankful to have the connection to do so.
The bed was very comfortable to sleep in and we indulged in some of the suggested activity’s the following day, I honestly couldn’t think of anything that wasn’t catered for and it was a really easy and comfortable stay and both me and Lee would recommend stopping here on your journey up north or back down the west coast of Australia.
