Ooooh, the yummy food on offer was too tempting to pass up, even if our bellies weren’t rumbling at the time, we probably stopped anyway as the stunning display on the buffet tables was glorious.
This branch was conveniently placed in the food hall at La Cañada mall in Marbella.
There were plenty of tables, and the waiting staff were quick and efficient but not particularly chatty.
Food Quality
In most pre-cooked buffet restaurants I have to say the food never looks quite so appealing but this display was beautiful.
You could tell the food had been freshly prepared, but then they had just opened. Ooo the food, it was good. It was a mix of Chinese and Spanish and for some reason. Mine and lees first plates were similar, full was angel hair noodles, I mixture of grilled meats and seafood, it was delicious, everything was full of flavour and not dried out at all. But Lee did find his wasn’t as hot as it could have been.
Of course, we went back for seconds (we are greedy food monsters lol) I think we just went back to get our favourites from the first round. hehe
Then it was pudding time! Ding! Ding! Ding! There were crepes, Ice Cream, fresh fruit, bowls of sweet and savoury toppings. Hmmmmmm what a choice I had, well as you can see by the picture, I went for a bit of everything and if I could off eaten another plateful, I would have.
Value for Money at M. Wok
The sit-down price for the meal each was 9.95€ each, and a bottle of water was 1.80€ a total of 25.85€ altogether including a tip. We thought this was fairly reasonable compared to prices back
Home but for Spain, it was a little bit pricey.
But as I said previously the food was tasty and plentiful.
Atmosphere
I have to say there wasn’t much of an atmosphere, the waiting staff were attentive enough but showed no enthusiasm or emotion when interacting with us.
